I’m an associate solicitor in our Private Client Department, based in our Harpenden Office. I specialise in Wills, Probate, Estate Planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
As a local person living in the area since 2002 and bringing up my family here, I understand the lives of my clients in Harpenden, and am able to advise from a position of experience and empathy.
I have advised people with large and complex wealth structures, but my main focus is normal people wanting to make the best of what they have and ensure it is preserved for the next generation to enjoy.
I provide straightforward advice, and can assist you in thinking through how you would like to structure your estate planning matters both in your lifetime and through your Will.
My experience includes advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney, where I also register them with the Court of Protection and provide advice on their operation if needed. I can also take on the administrative burden of Probate (including dealing with inheritance tax matters), hopefully making what can be a very difficult time a little bit easier.
I started my career as a trainee solicitor in London, working for a large international firm. It very quickly became apparent that Private Client work was where my passion lay, and on qualification I enjoyed six years in London advising high net worth individuals on inheritance tax planning, complex probates, and trust administration. I made the move to Taylor Walton following a break for family, and now enjoy my ten-minute commute from home!
I recently featured in Estatesearch’s ‘Ask the Expert’, which can be read here – Best Practice in Administering High Net Worth Estates – Estatesearch
I joined Taylor Walton in 2021.
