Taylor Walton is proud to announce that Emily Waddell, the firm’s Head of Marketing and Business Development, has been appointed Vice President of the St Albans Chamber of Commerce.

Emily has been an active Director of the Chamber for the past three years, during which time she has led the Future Leaders Committee and worked closely with the Chamber team to help develop the Chamber’s events programme. Her work has focused on fostering meaningful connections across the local business community, championing collaboration and creating opportunities for emerging talent.

Her appointment to Vice President reflects her longstanding commitment to supporting businesses across St Albans and her passion for building a strong, inclusive and forward-looking commercial environment.

Emily said:

“I’m incredibly honoured to take on the role of Vice President of the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce. Having worked in St Albans for many years and most recently as a Director, I’ve seen first-hand the impact the Chamber has in bringing businesses together and creating opportunities for growth and collaboration. I’m passionate about supporting our local business community and look forward to continuing to help shape initiatives that champion innovation, connection and our future leaders.”

As Head of Marketing and Business Development at Taylor Walton, Emily plays a key strategic role in driving the firm’s growth, strengthening client relationships and enhancing its presence across Hertfordshire and beyond. Her expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement and brand development has been instrumental in supporting both the firm’s ambitions and the wider business community.
