I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Property Department based in Luton.

As a Trainee, I am involved in all aspects of commercial property, including sale transactions, refinancing, and landlord and tenant transactions. I have drafted legal documents, including Certificates of Title, Lease Reports and Contracts for Sale. I also communicate directly with clients and the other side’s solicitors to help and assist the fee-earner in progressing matters efficiently.

My first seat was in the Family Department, where I was involved in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, finances, and private children law cases. I assisted the fee-earners in the drafting of documents such as Consent Orders, Forms E, and Instructions to Counsel. I was regularly engaged with the clients, attended meetings, and attended Court Hearings, which included cases involving high-net-worth individuals.

Before I started my Training Contract, I worked as a Paralegal in the Private Client Department, supporting fee-earners in the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Declarations of Trust. I was also involved in Probate matters, often communicating with clients and any relevant financial bodies.

I joined Taylor Walton in 2023.
