I am an Associate Solicitor in our Employment Department. I have a wealth of experience supporting and advising both employers and employees in contentious and non-contentious matters.

I am committed to delivering the highest standards of client care, from the first contact to the conclusion of every matter. I understand the stresses and pressures facing many of our clients and I pride myself on giving clear pragmatic advice, often on tight deadlines. I support clients through a myriad of matters and issues, including:

  • Employee relations issues and disputes, including handling grievances, conducting disciplinaries, dealing with claims in the Employment Tribunal, and negotiating settlements.
  • Providing HR advice to employers on all employment related issues such as employment status, holiday pay, statutory leave, long term sickness absence, and performance management.
  • Drafting and advising on employment documents, including contracts, restrictive covenants, handbooks, individual policies, scheme documentation, and settlement agreements.
  • Advising on redundancy exercises and TUPE transfers in corporate transactions.

I joined Taylor Walton in 2025.

  • Successfully defended a global reach executive recruitment agency in a discrimination, whistleblowing, & unfair dismissal claim.
  • Advised an employer in the manufacturing industry on summary dismissal of the CEO including chairing the disciplinary appeal and negotiating an amicable settlement.
  • Advised a prestigious financial group on complex grievance and disciplinary investigations and breaches of restrictive covenants by exiting employees.
  • Negotiated high value settlements on behalf of numerous employees against blue chip companies, and on behalf of multiple professors against a prestigious university.
  • Advised a California based IT employer in all employment related start up measures on incorporation of its UK entity.
  • Advised an employee in a pregnancy discrimination claim against a well-known charity which was eventually resolved by way of settlement.
  • Represented a recruitment agency in an unfair and wrongful dismissal claim which was settled with a nominal payment early in the proceedings.
  • Represented an employee in a sexual harassment and disability discrimination claim against a high street retailer which was resolved by way of settlement
